Sky Rose Equestrian Center

Sky Rose is owned by Nicole and Jose Avila with the help of Nicole's parents Dianne and Michael Chiappetti. Nicole has been involved with horses for the last 16 years. She began as a jumper, but ended up finding her place in the dressage world. She began training in dressage about 10 years ago. With help from her trainer Amanda Johnson she was able to compete in four NAJYRC competitions, two as a Junior and two as a Young Rider. In addition to that, Nicole was able to receive her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medal within four years. Nicole has extensive experience when it comes to babies, young horses, and older horses. She has dealt with an assortment of temperaments from sizzling hot to easy-going. Nicole has trained with many well-known clinicians like Lilo Fore, Conrad Schumacher, Lars Petersen, George Williams, Lendon Gray, Robert Dover, Susanne Von Dietze, and Jeremy Steinberg. She has been under training with Amanda Johnson, Jennifer Kotylo, and Patricia Becker.  

Jose Avila grew up with horses and has been working with them his whole life. His mainly western riding background helps create a perfect balance with his wife. He has extensive experience as a barn manager in both high functioning hunter jumper and dressage barns. Jose helps everything run smoothly within the barn.
